Dr. Jainendra Kumar has served in several reputed medical institutions across India and abroad, including King Khalid University, Saudi Arabia, the Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences, GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences, Andhra Pradesh, and Sri Venkateswara Medical College. He has contributed significantly to surgical education as a lecturer, assistant professor, associate professor, and professor, teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
